This list of inscriptions, town of Easton, was copied November 1934, under the auspices of the F.E.R.A and the W.P.A. sponsored by the Connecticut State Library, was compiled under the supervision of Charles R. Hale, State Military Necrologist, assisted by Miss Mary H. Babin, Secretary. It includes 406 inscriptions of headstones in Easton cemeteries. 406-2, listed as Aspetuck, is actually the Gilbertown Cemetery on the western side of Route 58 just north of the intersection with Redding Road. 406-4 and 406-6 are currently referred to Den Cemetery.
