Our 50th anniversary marked a half century of the Society’s ongoing efforts to research, document and preserve Easton’s history. Among our accomplishments this past year: the addition of several new board members who have helped improve our website and update our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages. We now post new and informative articles about Easton’s past notable residents, architecture and events on a weekly basis. we’ve digitized our archive collection, adding several new website galleries with never-before public access to hundreds of historic photos and documents. We have initiated the reorganization of our storage facilities and upgraded the preservation process for some of our oldest documents and artifacts that date to the 18th and 19th centuries.
